Who Am I?
I’m a Assistant Professor of Marketing at Siena College in Loudonville, NY.
My research stems from consumer behavior and brand management. Specifically, I focus on consumer journeys and consumer relationships with brands, in both imagined and dynamic contexts. Across these two areas, I am interested in developing a greater understanding of how consumers who feel their consumption desires are unrealistic or unattainable develop a consumer journey via their imagination as well as how consumers deal with changes that brands may make as part of their strategic decision making. Across both topics, I employ various data collection methods, including surveys, experiments, and consumer interviews.
Before entering academia, I earned a bachelor degree in commerce at the Smith School of Business and worked in the fields of consulting, advertising and economic development for four years.
Outside of academic life, I like to garden, attempt DIY projects, sail and travel.
